Refund & Returns Policy – BDsafemart

At BDsafemart, we want you to receive the correct products in good condition. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete product, you may request a return or replacement according to the conditions below.

1. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it is shipped by contacting us as soon as possible.

Once an order has been shipped or handed over to the courier, cancellation may no longer be possible.

2. Eligible Returns

A product may be eligible for return or replacement if:

  • You received the wrong product or wrong quantity.
  • The product was damaged before delivery.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product is missing important parts or accessories that were included with the order.
  • The product does not substantially match the product description.

For defective or damaged products, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order.

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be unused and in its original condition where applicable.
  • Original packaging, accessories, manuals, labels, and other included items should be retained.
  • The product must not have been intentionally damaged, modified, installed incorrectly, or misused.
  • Some products may have specific return or warranty conditions mentioned on their product page.

Electrical, fire safety, tools, hardware, safety shoes, and industrial products that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged due to improper handling may not be eligible for return unless the issue is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or the product was defective upon delivery.

4. Products Damaged During Delivery

Please inspect the package when receiving your order.

If the package or product appears significantly damaged, please inform the delivery person/courier immediately and contact BDsafemart with photos or videos of the package and product.

If you accept a visibly damaged package without reporting the issue, resolving the claim may become more difficult.

5. Refunds

After receiving a returned product, BDsafemart will inspect it to determine whether it meets our return conditions.

If the return is approved, we will process the applicable refund or replacement.

For advance payments, where BDsafemart is unable to supply a confirmed order, the applicable refund will be processed according to the payment method and applicable Bangladesh e-commerce requirements. The Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines provide specific requirements concerning refunds when a seller fails to supply an advance-paid order.

Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.

6. Return & Delivery Charges

If the return is due to an error by BDsafemart, such as receiving a wrong or defective product, we will take appropriate responsibility for the return process.

If a return is requested for a reason that is not covered by this policy, the customer may be responsible for applicable return or delivery charges.

7. Non-Returnable Products

Some products may not be eligible for return due to their nature, including:

  • Used or installed electrical products
  • Used tools and hardware
  • Products damaged through misuse
  • Products modified or repaired by the customer
  • Products without required original packaging/accessories
  • Customized or specially ordered products
  • Products specifically marked “Non-Returnable” on their product page

Manufacturer warranty, where applicable, will be handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

To request a return or replacement, contact us with:

  • Product name
  • Reason for return
  • Clear photos/videos of the product and packaging
